 Notice is hereby given that the Monroe City Council will hold a public hearing during a City Council Meeting on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 6:30 p.m., at the South Sevier High School Auditorium located at 450 W 100 S, Monroe, Utah. The purpose of the hearing is the adoption of the 2018-2019 budget and certified tax rate for Monroe City by resolution.

Notice of Municipal Election

In accordance with Utah Code 20A-5-101 notice is hereby given to all registered voters residing in the City of Monroe, that the Municipal General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The election is being conducted entirely by-mail. Registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail. Ballots may be returned by mail (adding postage) or ballot drop boxes will be located at the Monroe City Hall and Sevier County Clerk’s Office. Your ballot must be postmarked on or before November 3, 2017. The drop box at the city office will be available until 8:00 p.m. on election day.
October 31 is the last day for an individual to register to vote either on-line or at the Sevier County Clerk’s office.

The canvass of election returns will be held on November 14, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at the city hall.

2018 24th of July - Pioneer Day Celebration

Monroe City will be celebrating Pionner Day on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with the parade starting at 10:00 am followed by park activites and fireworks that evening.

The annual Community BBQ and Children's parade will be on Monday, July 23, 2018.
