MONROE CITY BUDGET HEARING

Public notice is hereby given that the Monroe City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Monroe City Offices located at 10 North Main Street, Monroe, Utah. The purpose of the hearing is the adoption of the 2009-2010 budget and certified tax rate for Monroe City by resolution.

The 2008--2009 budget may also be opened and amended by resolution to increase the General Fund and Enterprise Funds expenditure and revenue budgets by department and line item. Capitol projects and debt service budgets may also be adopted or amended.

An ordinance will be considered providing for the compensation of statutory officers of Monroe City.

A copy of the proposed budget and compensation ordinance is available for inspection at the office of the City Recorder, 10 North Main Street, Monroe, Utah.
