Jr Jazz basketball sign-ups end 10 12 2020

?? ? Boys Jr. Jazz registrations are due Monday October 12th! You can register at the Monroe City Office. Cost is $50 for the season. This includes their Jersey.

The draft for this season will be held at the Middle School gym on Wednesday, Oct 14
— 5th/6th grade boys 6:00pm - 7:00pm
— 7th/8th grade boys 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Parent and player meeting will be held on October 22 from 6:00-6:30pm. At least one parent is required to attend this meeting.

Red Rocks Fall Fly-In September 28- October 3, 2020

Beginning September 28, 2020 thru October 3, 2020 Our little valley skies will be filled with over 250+ Paragliders and Hangliders. To welcome them to our community Monroe City will be sponsoring an evening presentation. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday September 28, 2020 at the Lion's Park with the band "Sugar Beet", and peach cobbler and ice cream will be served. At 8:00 p.m. Stacey Whitmore, President of Red Rock Flyers, will talk about the mountains of southern Utah, importance of bulidng a good relationship with the community, pilots code, pioneering, scars and stripes, and how to get chest hair on your arms. 

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the band, cobbler and learn  about the flyers and why they come to our mountains. 


Due to fire restrictions open burn will not begin September 15. When fire restrictions are lifted burn permits may be processed. Below is a llnk to for the permit. Drive on thru, Prevent the flu!

Central Utah Pubic Health Department will be hosting a flu shot drive thru Sept. 25, 2020 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Monroe Fire Station.There is no cost with most insurances, and $25 with no insurance. They accept cash, check, cards and HSA - please wear a short-sleeved shirt - shorts for little ones - please fill out the attached form before to save time.
