Monroe City COVID 19 Update

Due to COVID 19 there are some notable changes you as our citizens need to know.

The City office is now closed to the public. You may make your payment over the phone or through the City Night Drop. If you need assistance, please call us at 435-527-4621

All City Parks and public restrooms will be closed – Fishing pond at this time is still open.

City Library is also closed but offers curbside and home delivery service. Just call 435-527-4019 for assistance.  

White’s Sanitation will only pick up trash in their cart, so that their employees do not need to leave the truck to collect trash.

City Council Meeting – held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm will be available through a Zoom meeting link on our website. Planning Commission meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm and will also be available through Zoom meeting link on our website.

If you have never used Zoom meeting and would like to join a sample meeting please call Monroe City at 435-527-4621 and we will assist you in accessing a meeting.

MONROE CITY OFFICE CLOSURE

Monroe City Offices will be closed to the public until further notice. You may call at 435-527-4621 for assistance.

Payments on utility bills can be made by phone, night drop north of City Office door, or at our website littlegreenvalley.com through xpressbill pay.

Baseball and Softball sign-ups can be handled through email and payment over the phone.

HELP WANTED - SEASONAL PART TIME GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Monroe City is seeking applicants for a seasonal/part time general maintenance worker. The position is for April 1- September 30 and will be a 30-40 hours per week depending on workload or as needed employment. 

Monroe City will accept applications until March 27, 2020 and applications may be obtained at Monroe City Office. 

Potential Duies: mowing grass and weeds, operation of power equipment, weeding, maintaining restroom facilities, monitoring lawn irrigation system, general maintenance and additional duites as assigned. 

Applicant must be at least 16 years of age.
