24th of July Information

Monroe City will be clebrating Pioneer Day on Wednesday July 24, 2019 with the parade starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by park activities and fireworks that evening. 

The annual Community BBQ and Children's parade will be on Tuesday July 23, 2018 starting at 6:00 p.m.

CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION 2019

VOTING ENDS AUGUST 13, 2019 - GET YOUR BALLOTS IN

You can either mail them or drop them off at the City Office or Sevier County Clerks Office.

The following individuals have met the qualifications to be candidates and filed for the position of Councilmember for a 4-year term.

Monroe City will be conducting the election by mail. The primary election will be held August 13, 2019.

SPLASH PAD FUNDRAISER

SPLASHPAD FUNDRAISING

A new committee has been formed to continue the efforts in fundraising for the splash pad. They have started a few new fundraisers. Royal Point Ranch-Garrett and Alicia Ekker and family, have donated a guided Bull Elk hunt valued between $8,000-$10,000 that we are raffling.  Tickets are available for purchase at the city office, $5 for one ticket, or $20 for 5 tickets, or online at littlegreenvalley.com The drawing will be held at the Public Power Picnic Aug. 26th. You do not need to be present to win. There is no age limit. We appreciate their continuous generosity they show to our community.

There are also cute 24th of July T-shirts for sale in the city office that all proceeds are donated by Marisa Mathie.

Lastly, a fun water day, has been scheduled at Mtn View Park, June 28 . Blow up water slides and water games will be available, entry will be $5. We appreciate all of your help and generosity. Together we can get this accomplished
